One of the better, and for sure the loudest of clevo's mid eighties
punk scene had to be the Mice. Three of the nicest unassuming
polite quiet kids you could ever meet, until they hit the stage.
Did I say loud? Let me say it again "LOUD". Billy
Fox in nothing but his tighty whiteys perched on his tiptoes,
actually "singing" not screaming great catchy lyrics,
Brother and drummer Tommy Fox morphed into the tazmanian devil,
just a blur of hair and sticks. I got them a show with
FloydBand once at Major Hooples, and when they hit the stage
you could see the rats exiting from under the bar running across
Columbus Rd for the saftey of the swing bridge. After the show
Norm the owner of the bar told me they were never welcome to
play again there again."Hell"I told him "You
should book them once a month just to keep the rats out."
