Vincent Van Hunk

back to the CleHunks
Back in '75 I was working at Goupil's in Paris and was renting a flat in Montmarte with my pal Harry. Harry and I were getting into the whole punk thing around then and decided to start a band. We named the band Pere Ubu and began playing weekly gigs at "La Crique du Pirate" down in the Plats.

It wasn't long before Harry was taking all the credit for the songs that I had written and even mentioned once, get this, that he had "invented the New Wave." Jai décidé à ce moment-là de terminer son sans valeur la vie. Tired of his ego, I asked him to join me on the Left Bank for some tea. As he was eyeing the pastry cart I pushed him into the Seine and watched as he sunk like a stone.

The only posession of any value was this damn fool shirt. I wear it because the colors rock.
