I recall some other Dumbshits' tunes: "Reagan Knows Best" -
"The Two-Chord Song" - "I Can't Play Drums" - "I Spilled Beer"
- "A Rag, A Bone, A Pile of Shit" (ode to Sharon Lee Caddick,
much like "You Smell" was 'ode to Jeff Redding'), the f-Models
tribute "We're Too Punk to be New Wave (and we're too new wave
to be punk)" as well as the holiday favorite "Weird Fuckin'
Christmas." The band also popularized the then unfashinable
"Chuck Fuller" hat. Like a forgotten diamond in the colon of
a smuggler, the Dumbshits are a painful memory, but a jewel
nonetheless.
